what do you use to cut....

Someone on here said they had a hot tool/knife type thing you could buy that cuts foamboard cleanly and easily. Who was that and please, what was that tool called?

You're gonna love it!

Just please be careful. It heats up to 1300 degrees F. A year ago, I made the mistake of having my Treo 700wx in my work area when I was using it, and of course I dropped the hot knife on it (my $500 phone was like 1 week old). It instantaneously melted part of the face and one of the buttons. *Sob* I had to use it to go around the button to melt it off of the face so I could still use my phone.

It does work like magic on foamcore, though.

ok so I got a hot knife, a craft iron for trying out the transfer sheets on fondant, a couple of cool cutters for dowel, and such and the same kind of sewing ruler suagrshack uses on her stacking video and the others too. I got it for 35!!! All of those plus paint for my little ones and paper to paint on. GOOD SHOPPING DAY!!!!

Thanks for asking this question... I am getting ready to use foamboard for the first time on some cakes in the next couple of weeks and couldn't remember for the life of me what was used to cut and the best place to get it.
