Hand made toppers...

Do any of you make these? I want to try but have no idea how to charge for this work or the normal type pricing......any advice or hints welcome as always!

mostly wedding figures or things out of gum paste, fondant whatever medium you choose.

Oh, I have done figures out of fondant.. not for a wedding cake though... I have done gumpaste/fondant monogram toppers for wedding cakes

I've had requests for handmade items, figures of bride of groom animals dressed as bride and groom mostly.
I am just not good enough yet...was wondering if people get requests for them much.... I do but I thinks it's a fad around here.

i've made fondant figures for birthday cakes. i haven't been asked to do them for a wedding cake. mine are pretty simple. i usually personalize them with hair and eye color.
