wedding date made! need help!!

Hi everyone,

This is my first time on the site, and I hope not my last. Me and my other half have just set a date for the nuptuals, and have most things sorted apart from the cake, I desperately need 'cricket' ideas for the cake!! my initial thought is for a two tier, and me and my OTH (who plays cricket) at the crease, with me in a 'dress' bowling him out, and our 3 children on the lower tier on the traditional cricket rug with the 'picnic' and bottle of wine/book/ball etc......but my dear friend, who has just volunteered to do the cake for me needs some ideas (so do I) .....so any help will be gratefully received!

I love these cakes from Lorraine McKay. She is a member of a couple of cake decorating boards I'm on and I love her work! Here is a link to her site:

Can your friend make figures similar to the cake on her home page, then make fondant cricket items and place them on the cake?

Have the kids holding a ball and the bat , Have someone wearing the gloves and helmet??

Thank you sooooooooo much!! Her cakes are fantastic, and have given me some great ideas, she's actually got one wedding cake with bride and groom on top, with the groom holding a cricket bat and wickets behind!! thank you again x
