And it's in September! They called during lunchtime today, and at 1:30pm they were at my house discussing cake, design and everything... The bride the groom and the maid of honnor were here. They have 3 designs in mind, all a mix of a bunch of designs, since I have already a tasting this week for another big cake (wedding anniversary) I offered them a tasting for this week, plus I'll having drawings made from the designs for them to choose. It's going to be fun!

The bride wanted something classic not too fancy, not a lot of flowers. She said she doesn't want the cake to be the star of the night, she wants to be the star, but she didn't want a plain cake either. I'm making flowers for the topper, so I thought I might make one to show her what it will look like. And she'll bring the deposit on Thursday, at the moment of the tasting and she was even delighted by the price I gave her. I charged 2.50$ per serving since the designs are not too complicated and very simple. She's buying her own cake stand, that's another thing not to worry about. So on Thursday, I'll have her contract ready and all the designs, with the cupcakes, iced with BC and some iced with MMF so she can taste them all. The designs she chose are easily made with either ones...

Can you tell I'm happy? And this time I won't forget my camera when I'll be setting it up!
