Am I wrong or should I just make more swags as I'm ready to place them on the cake?
Sherri,

Did you want to see pics of the swags that I mentioned above? If so, I can post them tonight when I get home from work. In the meantime, I was hoping someone could give me their opinion to my last question....."should I just make more swags as I'm ready to place them on the cake?" I will start baking on Thursday night and I wanted to have the swags and bows ready to just place on the cake once it was all iced.

Hello to all!! I apologize that I didn't have a chance to post these yesterday. These swags I did with molds that I sprayed with PAM. They really came out nicely!

So glad it worked out for you, wiping out the molds surely helped...good tip for future use!

You certainly have racked up a ton of casino cash by posting so much in the past couple of weeks.

In her book Beautiful Cakes Peggy Porschen made impressions on her cake with one of the floral patchwork cutters then used it as a guide for a brush embroidery design. A great idea for those of us who don't do well with freehand designs. I love them they are sturdy and there are a lot of fun designs to choose from.
