Cherry Cordials
has anyone ever used choco-pan to wrap the cherries in before dipping. I've read of some using satin-ice but, I'm curious to see if anyone has used choco-pan.. I'd love to hear how they turned out. I have to make some today and I'm trying to figure out my best options.
TIA

Re: Cherry Cordials
I never have but if they did it with satin ice I would think choco-pan pan would be divine as it tastes better<<choco pan has tha market on taste for chocolate type fondant in my opinion>>

Re: Cherry Cordials
It may take more time as choco-pan is a softer product and seems to stay softer than a traditional fondant.

Re: Cherry Cordials
O.k.. update!.. I made two different batches. 1st one, I put some choco-pan in a bowl and made it into.. like a paste, adding cherry juice and liquor to it to thin it out... The next batch I use took pieces of choco-pan and rolled the cherry in it.. The 1st only took about 4 days to cure.. the second took maybe 6 to show signs of age... but, they both received rave reviews... For those who like more of a juicy cordial.. the 1st was for them... for those who like a little juice and cream.. the second would be the best choice...

I've never been a candy maker, but these sound just divine! I'd love to try them, would someone be willing to post a recipe for me?
Thanks
