Does anyone make taffy?

No toffee especially when slightly warm is really chewy sticks all your teeth 2gether honey comb is chrunchy like in a cadbury crunchie choc bar dou have them???

Last summer when I was at the beach I went into a candy store that made the taffy fresh. Oh so good, they had hundreds of flavors and fresh. Sure spoiled me from ever buying taffy anywhere else.

So how do you make chocolate taffy? Anyone make this ever?

I tried banana taffy once, but it was so chewy that you really couldnt eat it. It ended up like a Sugar Daddy lollipop. LOL. ....Have you tried google for a recipe?

When we were kids I remember that we would make it. All I can remember is standing away from each other pulling on the taffy with buttered hands. It seemed that it took forever. Once it was at the right stage it would be cut and wrapped in waxed paper. I will look for a recipe for you.

I myself, am a little intimidated by the entire process... I'd rather buy it because if I try it and fail, I'll have nightmares about it until I get it right.... and who knows how long that would take...
