I started making the fondant bows today for the cake topper. I decided on a green and ivory theme. I made the green MMF the night before and i think i made too much LOL.

As for the bows, I made the 6" long instead of the 8" i saw in the tutorial mainly because the top tier is just a 5" round so i didn't want the topper to overwhelm the cake. The fondant pearls will have to be made tomorrow.

I'm seriously thinking about making teeny tiny fondant pearls for...

I'm going to make a cake for my grandma's birthday on the 8th. I'm very excited but also very nervous. it will be my first tiered cake.
