    I did do that cake with a regular stencil and dust. My friend did the stenciling on the fondant & I arranged it. I didn't want different hands doing them because I figured we would do them differently. When I had experimented with another one, the fondant pushed through the stencil more. I rolled the fondant, then rolled it on top of the stencil, turned it over & dusted it. The tiles are easier than doing it directly on the cake and gave it a little more dimension.

    Thank you for the kind words! I have a set of plaster/clay tools I use for building things. There's a little tool w/ just wires on the end. I used that to make the end of the stem.

    Hi Amanda, thank you for the picture comment, to answer your question, I used blue sparkle glitter around the white buttercream to add the extra shine, and topped it off with blue/raspberries
