After lots of time and energy trying to do things right, I've decided it isn't worth it. I'm quitting. I'm still donating cakes and doing the friends and family thing, but I am no longer searching for a break.
I made my last wedding cake this weekend, and I was so surprised to find that once it was done, I was relieved. I thought I'd be upset and sad that I couldn't make it work...but I'm not!! I don't think I realized how stressful this had all become.

Here's my story. I'm a stay at home mom of 3 boys. Never in a million years did I think that those Wilton Cake Decorating classes would change my life...but they did. I love cakes, and I would give anything to be able to open my own bakery.
