good morning! my laundry is going, dishwasher is washing, cakes are baking and butter is softening! lots to do today! how is everyone else doing this morning???

Well good morning to you!
It is so beautiful here! I wish I could take a break and do some gardening, but I really overextended myself for the next two weeks.... I've got a crumb coated cake waiting for #3 to take a nap so I can ice it! 30 more minutes...

I'm doing very well thank you. My goal today is to test some cupcake recipes. I think I am going to do a vanilla cupcake with fluffy cream filling and a chocolate ganache topping. Gotta go to the grocery store first. Had to stop here and get caught up before I go.

glad to meet a fellow crumb coater. i've got a wedding cake crumb coated in the fridge now. i remember waiting for my kids to nap so i could decorate. as time goes on, it will get easier to decorate while they are running around playing!!

Good morning all!

I'm exhausted after a whirlwind 3 days of trying to get everything around the house done that we needed to be ready to sell.

We re-carpeted the upstairs den area as well as painting and the big job was cleaning up and repairing our girl's playhouse that hasn't been touched in years! We had to tear out the floor and replace it, repair the roof, paint the outside and paper the inside. My goodness that was a lot of work! But now it looks so cute I don't want to sell!!!!

I'm moving on to marathon sewing today. I promised my daughters months ago that I'd sew them renaissance costumes for the fair this weekend.....I haven't even started yet!!!!

been to the bank, grocery, and dry cleaners. Took our 2, 3 and 15 year old to breakfast before school so now it's baking time.....cant go see Bobby Flay in parade as they are only letting in press and people with tickets they sold for 25.00 a piece....no thanks. I aint paying 25 for me and 15 for 3 kids to just see him wave and ride by.

I am lucky to get buttons to stay on and resew hems....anything more is a mystery to me...no wonder she's a moderator...woman of all trades here!

I'm at work until 5, then I have to go to the store to get some stuff to make a red velvet cake i have to bring to work TOMORROW for this last minute order for a baby shower!!! And try and get over to parollet313's house to give her a piece of my yummy butterscotch cake! Man is it 5 yet?
