Went to my sons county tournament baseball game tonight and my sons second time up to bat, he tells me Mom I am gonna hit the green monster!!(his favorite team is the red sox) The field we were at had a big green fence and he hit the fence ALMOST A HOME RUN!!! It hit the top then fell into the field.I was such a proud mom!!!

I love watching youth baseball games. You should be a very proud Mom. We have the Iowa Cubs but I don't care for the games because I have such a hard time seeing the ball. I use to watch my nieces games all the time. My daughter never did play baseball or softball. I am trying to make myself tired as I have to be up at 5 am as I am working at the polls tomorrow. We are voting on wether to vote for a new 132 million dollar court house. I am hoping that it doesn't pass as I can't afford to have my taxes go any higher. Not with the economy the way it it.

My kids never got into baseball... but they were ice skating. Now my boys are bowling and my girl is synchronise swimming.
So after freezing myself at the rank now I'm sweating at the pool!

Yep very proud and he did the same thing last night again ALMOST a home run at the same field!!!! But they lost but oh well he had fun and thats all that matters!! He has been playing baseball since he was 4 at the same field. He eats breaths and sleeps baseball!! My 15 yr old daughter use to dance she was a GREAT dancer but when she got sick with cancer at 10 she quit and took up ice skating. And she loves ice skating!

oh my! cancer! I'm glad she's ok now! They say sick children grow up fast... My youngest son was sick the first few years of his life, and my mom says he's an old soul... he speaks like adult and he surprises us sometimes with what can get out of his mouth!

Yea she had Melanoma at age 1o she is 15 now and has been in remission for almost 5 yrs!! Her 5 yr remission date is on her sweet 16 birthday!!!!!
