uploading pics

Ok I am done with 7 palm trees and 2 monkeys(not sure how I like them I may have to re do them) How do you upload your pics to a message and how do you know they are the right size??

I got to photobucket.com. I upload my pics on there and they give you the codes for ims, online messages, aim or forums so you can just cut and paste your pics where ever.
You can also resize and adjust them.
