Does anyone own the book "The Cake Mix Doctor?" I just ordered a copy. I'd like to hear your opinions!

It is an absolute must for all bakers in my opion, rose is awesome and awe inspiring. Her forums are cool too. She gets on and answers questions and everything!

now you've done it! I've been on amazon filling up a cart full of books i want to get. First, i think i'll make a run to Borders tomorrow and do a quick look through the ones i'm interested in, and see if i can save money getting them through amazon.

I'm always looking to save money!

amazon has a program super saver or something, I get free 2 day shipping and dont pay anything for it, just signed up, check into it, with the deals on used books and all it ends up being cheaper than if I bought some of them locally!

You should check out the book and the fabulous prices at Half Price Books!!! I love that place!! You can find some really good treasures there sometimes. I check in from time to time to see what "new" used books they have.

Well, that's true, but here's a tip.......go on-line to Barnes & Noble or the such and print out the actual price for the books and show him how much money you actually saved him. Then he will appreciate that you are such a great bargain hunter!!!!

Just a thought.................but it could work!!!!!

The Amazon.com program is called 'Prime', I have signed up for it the last 3 years. It's actually something like $85 a year, but if you order from them as often as I do, the 'free' 2 day shipping ends up being a really good deal. The only thing I don't like about Amazon is they keep your credit card number on file whether or not you say it's OK, doesn't matter if you go into Your Account and delete the card numbers, they show up again next time you sign in. I don't care how secure you say your website is, if I don't want you to keep my credit card number on file, DON'T DO IT!! Sorry, off my rant box now........ :-)
