I'm not positive, but I think it's by how many posts you have.

Yes, it's post count.

I was wondering the same thing. I did not know if it was post count or the length of time that you had been registered.

Once you reach 100, you're a senior member

I noticed that a lot of the newbies came in as JR. members while others came in as just members why the difference? And how is your reputation determined?

I am not sure why some came in at different status' but your rep is a way for people to thank you, so they hit your rep button and have a chance to say why they are giving you rep and then it goes into your profile, no purpose other than to be nice and let someone know they were helpful, kind or as a pick me up too!
