Default OMG! My husband bought me this!!!

WOOHOO happy dance!! My little hand mixer has been sounding like "the little engine that could" for the past several times I've used it, and it smells like it's burning LOL. It was definately time for something new very soon. This price seemed awesome and a free food processor attachment will come in after I send in the receipt. I am SOOOO EXCITED!! I've wanted a stand mixer for years now!!

SWEET! You'll get so much use outta this thing that you won't remember how you got by without it!!! YAY! I'm doing the happy dance with you! I'm already ready for a Hobart! I had to make 10 batches of icing last night for these 2 wedding cakes this weekend and my KA was struggling a little in the end. I think the bearings need to be greased. I told my DH that I wished I had a Hobart to make all 10 batches at the same time!

I can't believe you don't have a stand mixer! You are going to be sooo happy! I burned out my hand mixer on royal icing during my 2nd Wilton class. Bought another but then I was burning out my arm holding the mixer & bought the stand up KA at Costco. I actually don't use it unless I'm making icing or lots of cakes. One of the best tips my friend gave me, which I haven't done yet, was buy a 2nd bowl - icing - cake batter... I know you will enjoy it!

Yep, Jazz, a 2nd bowl has been on my wish list for a while now. That and the beater blade. But I will most likely be upgrading my mixer soon and want to wait to buy a 2nd bowl for the new mixer.

Great for you! I thought it was going to be pink! I have a 6 qt kitchen aid and and artisain model one too that I have 2 bowls for. I also have extra blades. Would never live without them. I can make enough buttercream to do an entire wedding cake in my 6qt. I'd be lost without it. I remember when I would have to make several batches in my smaller one and it would take forever. The 6qt is nice. You will love the size!

I'm still happy dancing!! I can't wait to get it and start playing with it!!

Jeri--youre so right, I love the color pink!! My husband always gets me pink things too! He's probably glad this one only came in "normal" colors that he wouldn't be embarrassed to have on the counter LOL.

My big one is a nickle color and my little one is white. I love the colors but I change my kitchen so much that I really don't want my appliances in color. I have white cabints, black counters and my accents are the color... This month my accents will be orange... for halloween. I just change out my towels etc and gives the kitchen a new look by the month.
