Well, we've been tight, money-wise for awhile now. So I've decided to go look for job that won't necessarily need me on the weekends since I want to concentrate on my orders on weekends. here in my town, they have troubles finding people to work, so they basically go with what you want for a schedule. So I had an interview with the grocery store owner this afternoon. I wanted the job in the prepared-meals area. Well I'm starting tomorrow morning at 8am. woohoo! He said that even though usually we need to work a weekend now and then he would arrange that. And I told him that if one weekend I don't have any orders, well I'll tell him so he can count on me if needed, he said that it was good to know, and told me when I was able to start. I answered: when you want me to! So he said see you tomorrow morning at 8am!
I didn't want to be a cashier, and that's one thing they have enough of there. So if was for the prepared-meals or for the cheese and deli area. I preferred the prepared-meals, and that's where he's sending me. COOL!!!!
He said that I should be able to work around 30 hours per week. I was asking for a minimum of 20 hours, so that's perfect!
I hope I'll be able to sleep well tonight! I'm so excited that maybe I won't be able to shut my eyes!
