My son called me because his work sponsors the summer concerts in Bend and asked me if I wanted to go to see Brooks & Dunn... He knows I am a country music nut so I was excited! He had the VIP passes so we had great parking.... yummy food & got to enjoy one of the best acts in country music!!! It was fun! If ya love country music and have not seen them... if you ever get the chance... go see them. They put on a fantastic show! I just know I am not as young as I used to be! I wore heals... dumb idea and we were on our feet most of the concert. My feet are killing me! I took my shoes off for awhile but I am so short, I couldn't see over the people in front of me so I put them back on!
NOW... I am sitting her on the computer trying to stay awake because I have 2 more cakes to bake tonight for the wedding this weekend!!! I may give up and bake tomorrow. I just hate baking during the day it heats the house up too much.
I just love seeing a good performance...I am looking forward to seeing the newsboys this year at our fair...the 18th of aug... I am so stoked! Glad you had a good time. I too am short...5'3 so I feel ya on the heels to see!

It's great that you had a good time. Here this weekend it's the August festival and there's a lot of free concerts. And my brother will be town, he arrives tomorrow, so it'll be fun

I would LOVE to have those 3" that you all have... If I stand up really tall I am 5' and 1/2"! I have step stools everywhere! Life in the short lane is interesting! Short and sassy is what my hubby says!
My mother in law is your height Jeri!! I joke with her that with the new laws, she just misses a booster seat by 2 inches HAHA. She's a little bitty petite Italian woman.
Thanks LadyDZA... I never thought of needing a booster seat! The kids at school all come and say Hey I am taller than you... I tell them if they are not taller than me by the 7th grade... they probably won't be!!!
