Prayers needed!

Well I've just cam back from the hospital with my youngest (he's almost 10) He fell on a dresser and bumped his head. it was bleeding so I decided to go to the hospital to see if it needed some stitches. Well they put a special glue on it, and said that if comes off then they'll do one stitch. Anyways he's ok, and he promised not to be so crazy next time!

but that's not the reason I'm asking for some prayers...
While we were waiting in the waiting room to see the doc, my dh's aunt came by us. She just got a call that her father (my dh's grandfather) was being transfered to the big City to have a pacemaker installed. So he's there right now, and hopefully everything will be alright after this. We've been telling him for a few years now that he should get a pacemaker, even the docs have told him, but he never wanted one. but today he didn't have a choice. The nurse that goes to his house every wednesday to check his blood pressure and other stuff, checked his pulse and it was at only 38! So she told my dh's grandmother that her husband needed to go to the hospital right away. By the time he got there his pulse was at 33. So he got transferred by a medic-airplane. My SIL is already there in that city because her son had a hockey camp, so she's going to go visit him tonight and call us to tell us how he's doing.

How scary! My Pawpaw has lots of heart problems, so I know how scary that can be!! We'll be praying for him!

Sweetie he will be on our prayer list and in our hearts. You'd be amazed how good at these type things and how regularly they do this type of thing any more. Your hubby's papa will be fine.
Thank goodness his traveling nurse was there.

Thanks guys! He didn't feel well the last two days but he didn't want to go to the hospital. His wife and my mil tried both to convince him but it didn't work. I guess that having the nurse telling him he had to go gave him no choice! He's 85 y-o and really stubborn! He didn't want a pacemaker because 2 people he knew had one installed and died 3 months or so after that. So he thinks that having one will help me die! My grandma has one, it's been 5 years now, and she's doing fine! I think I'm more worried about his reactions than the procedure... if you know what I mean! Once he got hospitalised and they had to strap him down because he was always taking away his IV, throwing stuff... and so on... When he's not himself because of his condition we don't know how he'll react... Can't wait to hear from my sil though...
dh doesn't know yet, he'll get back from work it around 45 minutes...

Dh's grandpa just came back from the big hospital this morning. He's feeling good. So everything will get back to normal... and he won't be feeling bad anymore because of his heart! thanks to the doc that finally convinced him to have the procedure done!
