Default my little girl isn't a little girl anymore

she's growing too fast... first she grew so much that she's now taller than me and she's only 12½ y-o. and this week she had her first period! Geez... life goes by so quickly! But she wasn't into much pain, compare to me at her age. I hope she'll still be like this when she gets her next periods.
Sorry just had to share this "event", *sigh*

sweety try having a 15 year old who's been taller than you since she's 12 and started her period when she was 10 1/2 and has a dd size bra!<<<I barely sport an a-b cup.....
People think she's my younger sister most of the time!
Chin up momma, now she'll be a handful but get closer to you than you thought she could.....

I can sympathize with both of you. My daughter started her period at the age of 10 and she stopped growing. I took her to a specialist and they did x-rays on her knees and told me that she would grow a little more but not much more. She grew to 4' 10". She will be 40 next year and people still think shes in school. Which I don't mind since I will be 60 next year. I just don't know where the time went. Enjoy every minute with your children because it will be the time that you spent that they remember and not the material things.

Awww! We all have to grow up sometimes. I have to tell you a story that a co-worker told me about her friend. Her friend got her's and was finde with it but started crying when she got it the second time because she thought she only would get it once like measles. She was not a happy little girl so make sure you tell them, it's month after month, year after year...

yeah, my mom used to celebrate my first date ann. every year with a rose...a red rose of course..to mark the day I physically started becoming a woman she said...we'd do lunch and everything. It was kinda cool...miss that about her.
It's hard when your daughters start this life long trips and your own mother isnt here any more.

Sorry to hear that 2sdae. I wasn't happy when I first got it. I was 11 & it was the first day of summer Bible school. I didn't want to go. Mom told me I can't stop doing things because of it. I guess it was a good thing & I always plugged along even when it was sort of painful.
