Prayers for my Grandparents please, & A Question..

My MawMaw has made these dolls since I was little. They are phenomenal!! She does the dresses all by hand. She has them displayed all around her house, but she's in a delimma now though--she is having to pay for her chemo, and they're in a really tight spot moneywise. She's having to sell them... she asked me what she should charge for them. I can't find anything like them online. Any ideas?? Here are just a few of them...

They're also putting up their house and their 38 acres of land for sale. :( I feel SO horrible for them. They've been going through all their "treasures" this morning looking to see what they might can sell. They have a Franklin Mint Civil War Chess Set in Pewter, new in box and with paperwork that they're also looking to sell. I just feel so bad for them--- I can't imagine having to go through things I've had for years and cherished to choose what to get rid of.

So they definately need your prayers. ...Back to the question at hand; what do you think she should try and sell these for?? I know back when she first started making them they were going for $500 each, but I don't know what to recommend to her now, or even where to sell them.

I'm so sorry that they have to sell all of their treasures! That's terrible.
As far as the dolls, hmmmm...$15-20 each? I'm totally guessing. She obviously did a lot of work making those! Have you looked on ebay to try to find something similar? Just a thought....

Im thinking of contacting some of the boutiques around my area to see what they think. It wouldnt be worth it to sell them for that low!! The materials that went into them would have been more than that!

I did look on ebay but havent been able to find anything even close to these!! I'm still searching though!

Try Crochet Doll Dress. I found tons! Unfortunately some of them were selling for as little as $8.
I hope that you can find someone who appreciates the time and skill level that they each took. You could always try selling them on ebay too...just make sure you have a reserve so that they don't less than you want.

Those dolls should be worth a lot more than $15.00 dollars. There is so much work and material in them. I hope that you can find a person to purchase them that will appreciate them. They are beautiful piece of art. I will keep your Grandparents in my prayers. God Bless.

Thanks for the prayers guys!! ..I dont deal with craigslist anymore since there have been several scams lately. But I did get contact info for a few boutiques that I'm going to contact tomorrow when I get more pictures!!
