Default Should I send my resume for a "confidential" job listing?

I found a job listing on Yahoo Hot Jobs for a retail manager position. However, it only lists the company as "confidential". I'm wondering if I should still mail them my resume or if I should be careful about it.

Cant hurt....if it's something later on you dont want or like you just dont deal with it. Every lead is a lead.

Yup! I agree with 2sdae. You never know, maybe it'll be something you really like! Good luck!

They probably only listed it that way so that they would not be bombarded with phone calls inquiring about the position. I would send it in. It does not hurt to do that, and if it is a company you would rather not work for, then you can politely decline later.

Well I went ahead and mailed out my resume. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be something bad.

I heard somewhere and it might have been here if you list the name of the company and then the word scam it will tell you if there have been any reports on the company. And it might have been the company name first and then the word scam. At my age I tend to forget things.

Told you I forget things. You did mention you didn't have the name of the company, so how can you list it? You can try it with other companies. On another note. This was on our news last night. You can do a search on free things. Enter the words freethingswithoutsurveys. The news guy had lots of hits for free things.
