Camper Cake

Does anyone have instructions on how to make a Camper cake? Also has anyone made lawn chairs? I have been asked to make a Camper cake for a 30 wedding anniversary celebration which will be held in August. I thought if I get started now I could have the cake made by August. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

looks like an opportunity to use a coloring book for inspiration! You could do a tent and campfire.... maybe a bear hiding behind a tree peeking at the campers roasting marshmallows over the fire. You would have to include some little "bees & bugs" they are always present when camping! Best of luck. This could be cute!

When I was looking for camping cakes, I saw the lots of cute ideas on CC. One think I thought was cute were feet sticking out sort of toe to toe but probably not appropriate. One had molded deer which were pretty & you could do them ahead. Don't think you want the skunk I put on mine!! All though you could right "May your anniversary be filled with happy surprises!"

Before I started decorating I went to a wedding that had the cake kit on it with kayaks or canoes which the couple loved & I thought it was cute. I made my campfire with leaf tip, pretzel sticks & little chocolate stones I found at a boardwalk taffy store in Jersey. My tent was from the 5x5x3 Fat Daddio pan. I was making it in a hurry & didn't have time to figure out how to support the tent with edible items.

So you are looking at an RV type camper not a person camper? I totally misunderstood!

We all misunderstood. Do a sheetcake, cut it in thirds, stack it with support, carve if necessary depending on the make & model, cover in fondant and decorate away. There are lots of different types of campers so you should check what kind they are looking for. Here's link that has all different kinds of campers.
