Default the new office

I promised pics, so here they are!! Here's the home office I put together for my husband's birthday!! Thank you all for your help in choosing!

I surprised him and took him to dinner at Fogo de Chao in DC...it was FANTASTIC!!! His parents kept the boys overnight, and we saw the movie Wanted after dinner. I loved it!! Very kickbutt movie. Here's a picture of us right before we left. You can tell we were giddy about a night out! ...And while I'm at it, here's the birthday cake. YUM it was SOOO good--white orange sour cream cake, with dark Ghirardelli chocolate buttercream! Thanks for the recipe suggestions!! We all LOVED it!

He was completely surprised! I dont think Ive ever seen that man more excited LOL. It was so funny--he really thought I'd gotten him a weight machine. Keeping in mind that when he left for work that morning, he had an old office chair and old desk in there, a toddler bed that needed to go in the attic and nothing else. So he was quite shocked. He loves having his extra xbox 360 in there (he has two, dont even ask ...) and he plays it during his lunch break. He loves having a place he can just go shut the door that still feels like he's actually at work--gets a lot more done that way!

The cake was SOOOO good. It was all eaten but one slice, which he finished off yesterday. It ended up being a 6 inch tall cake, I didnt mean for it to, but it was humongous!
