Thanks for the info....I think I'll test it out with a small cake this week. This way I'll get an idea if its feasible for me to use it for the monopoly cake. Dont forget the dice!! You can make the dice out of fondant and if his apartment number is 2 numbers you can make the dice his apt number. good luck with your project and please take pictures.

If I were doing this cake I would try to make it life-size, just so you don't have to scale it down. I would use the actual board as a template to make a piping gel transfer...maybe trace the major lines of 1 row at a time, outline in black and fill in where you need to. If you're not that good with free-hand piping, you could make mini-transfers of the trains, chest, etc. I have no idea how to go about it in fondant......a lot of cutting and measuring? Please post a pic when you're done!!!
