As for the liners, couldn't you and your daughter make them out of construction paper or a heavy quality paper? This way you could make whatever design and color you want. Just a thought.

If you are feeling really ambitious....or want to have your daughter help out...maybe you could find some cute paper punches and cut out strips of cardstock (thicker durable paper) and use the punch along one long edge and then wrap the strip around the cupcakes! Much cheaper than ordering them at $1/pop + shipping!

You could even find a punch that goes with your theme...i'm sure there is a star punch out there somewhere!!!

Yes I was thinking of how I would make our own wrappers, Hmmm you ladies have my brain working ...LOL I like the hole punch idea. whoo hoo a challenge....I'll be working on this for awhile thanks soooo much.

I was just about to say the same...

I was discussing these liners on CC a few weeks back. Someone else told me she bought nice paper and made her own. I will definitely be trying it for my next ones. You can find scissors, hole punchers, etc. with decorative designs. Even at the dollar store.

go to your local craft store, go to the scrapbooking section, tons of papers, hole punches and paper cutters in awesome shapes and you can add things to them or just cut away from them for all kinds of looks!
