That's a neat site! I just can't justify buying 100 of each size....

I didn't quite understand what you meant by "diagonal" so I went and stacked a 10" square and an 8" square on top of an 11" x 15" and the only one that fit was the 8" but I centered it as a diamond shape. Is this the information you're looking for?

Thank you. How many pieces 2 x 2 can I get out of the 11 x 15 cake? My pans are 2" deep.I think I read somewhere I could use a nail instead of a heating core. I've never used either - just place it in the center of the batter? I usually use the wet baking strips on my pans.........sometimes they still 'hump' up. Sorry for so many questions. I appreciated your help.

I dunno...maybe 35 to 48?

I usually use 3 flower nails as heating cores in a cake that size. Just grease your pan, grease the nails, and pour your batter in. I place the 3 flower nails equidistant from one another across the length of the pan. I'm too lazy to use the Bake Even strips anymore! LOL

How do you keep your flower nails from scooting around the pan when you pour the batter in?

I spray mine with pam spray with flour put in bottom of pan put batter right in. Mine dont move much. I also line bottom of pans with parchment so maybe they "stick" better to that than sliding around the pans bottom though.
