I have a GE ceramic cooktop and the oven is big inside but it isnt a convection but I love it. At the house we just moved out of we had an awful stove I hated it. Now that I have a ceramic cooktop one I ABSOLUTELY love it.

I have a Kitchen Aid that I really love. It has all the features you are looking for and then some. It's ceramic cooktop is scratch resistant and easy to clean. The oven is large with three racks. Its really great. It is however a little more higher priced than other brands. I got it at a wholesale appliance center. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I gas and I love it....oh, wait I meant to say, I have a gas OVEN, and I love it, but I think it just depends on what you are used to. The ceramic tops on electrics are niiiiiice! My mil has one and I love how neat and clean it makes the kitchen look....but I can't cook on electric to save my soul.

I have a boring standard electric GE oven/stove. When this house was built, they put in a natural gas fireplace, and the heat runs off natural gas, but for some stupid reason they didn't make the stove gas too. I definitely prefer cooking/baking with gas.

The oven of my dreams is a Viking - here's a link to drool over:
Viking : 48" Sealed Burner, Dual Fuel Range - VDSC

Yes, I'd have the 48" wide double oven with six burners and griddle/simmer plate (instead of the char grill, I can do that outside).

Now to just figure out what the winning lottery numbers are, and that baby's MINE!!!
