What did you BAKE today?

Just thought it'd be fun if we could share what we've made. let's see how busy each other are.

Today am making a cake for my cousin's birthday. Her mom put in the order at 8:30 am and the party is at 4 and i haven't decided on a recipe yet! it's almost 1 PM. LOL

you ambitious baker you! I have made milk chocolate coffee cakes filled with vanilla infused rich's better cream and then covered in ganache with a dollop of rich's again on top then splashed with caramel/coffee syrup.

Then I am making wasc cakes with princess cookies emulsion topped with white chocolate butter cream swirls.

These are for a fund raiser for my oldest's drama club tonight.

well this cousin of mine has very particular taste in food. only recently (and she's 22) did she start eating spaghetti with sauce. when she was younger she would only eat the noodles, only eat things that are white. LOL

so initially i wanted to make a chocolate cake with dulce de leche filling, chocolate ganache and maybe drizzle some white chocolate ganache on top. but since she's picky, i totally ditched the DDL, made the ganache and the white choc ganache was too wet and wasn't thickening up so i just sprinkled some pink and pearl dragees on top. it looked quite dainty. like her no pictures,. because well some @^%@^&%#*&@_) stole my camera.

I have 50 of each of these varieties to finish they are all baked and all icings made thankfully, but no to assemble and put in boxes to take to benefit teachers room for her to take these dang things!

Haven't baked anything yet today, but I did buy some yummy donuts this morning...hey somebody baked them right!?!!

I have a 1 yr old and 4 yr old with me right ow (my great nieces) I wont be baking anything. The oldest one wants to eat my monkeys I made yesterday!!!LOL I am lucky to be on the computer!!!

Well i'm at work right now but last night I made a French Vanilla Cake with A banana pudding mix, and i torted it and filled it with Bavarian cream, and frosted it with a chocolate butter cream! mmmm it's for my Wilton class tonight! yay!
