i baked a cake i call chocolate fantasy for a bridal shower that was yesterday....chocolate cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream. today, i'm make a chocolate sheet cake and marble sheet cake for 2 different parties for friday. this is my one light week until june!

I wasn't planning on baking anything today, but now you all have me wanting to make a chocolate cake!

I'm making mini-cupcakes today and not particularly happy to be messing with it, they're a pain!

Thankfully, they don't have to be decorated, just a dessert sort of order. I saw a post on CC about dipping them in chocolate so they're going to be chocolate and yellow cupcakes, iced with chocolate or white bettercreme, then the tops dipped in chocolate...sort of a dip cone cake.

We'll see how they turn out!

My husband is coming home today!!!!!!! He's been gone for two months in Yuma, AZ for helicopter training and so I whipped up his favorite meatballs for supper, and later I'll throw together some cheesy potatos when my babies (3 yrs & 4 1/2 months) are napping this afternoon. I've got fresh pineapple, and a carrot cake for dessert!!!! Then tonight all i will need to do is throw it in the oven...no preparing supper tonight!

I better get to cleaning up the house, though. I am laughing because I don't know why i feel like the house needs to be clean???? After all, its "just" my husband coming home...but i think its more of a pride thing. i want him to 'think' i can keep things in order while he is gone! ha ha.... Flight comes in around 2:30pm!!!! 3 1/2 hours to go!

Just excited and i wanted to scream it to the world...or to my ITO girlies!

I just put the cake in the oven to make the cup cake pops. Cant wait to try these!!
