I also use the lazy susan from IKEA! I came across an Ateco turntable from a local grocery store that went out of business a few years ago. They were selling everything in their bakery and sold the stand for a couple of bucks. But it was so caked with grease and muck it didn't spin. I gave up trying and when I found the lazy susan, I just sat it on top. It's a perfect height and spins great.

IKEA has some good caking finds.

I splurged and bought the turntable that's a 12 inch round on 1 side and a 12x16 rectangle on the opposite so I can put my large or sheet cakes on it comfortably....one of my splurges I consider a good investment.
