Default 7 Minute frosting, boiled icing or marshmallow frosting?

I am quite confused by these three. what i've learned is they all taste like marshmallow and they have to be used immediately.

my question is this... which is the best? I have tried 7 minute frosting and it's quite good although it didn't become stiff i was still able to frost with it. The boiled icing am quite hesitant about because it involves a sugar syrup to be drizzled over whipped egg whites and i think that's too advanced for me especially since i only have a hand mixer. the marshmallow frosting looks really good and am kinda intrigued by the addition of actual marshmallows to what looks like a 7 minute frosting recipe. will the marshmallows make it stiff?

so i'd love to hear what all of you think as I am gonna use either of the three to make my BIG cake next week. thanks!

it starts like it but there's no addition of butter at the end. i like this one because for some reason i don't love buttery icing.

I'm not too up on it either really, a buttery taste but not over powering, feeling like you got a chunk of butter in your mouth kinda thing. Duff's butter cream is way over powering with the butter taste and whoa!

boiled icing would be my pick over the others. If you do not like the buttery taste, that is a yummy alternative.

i tried italian meringue icing once....i screwed it up. i do like swiss meringue since i don't have to drizzle the sugar syrup. it has been fool proof for me!
