Re: Vanilla Beans
Was just thinking about this the other day. LOVE the madagascar beans the vanilla smells and tastes so wonderful...The tahitian beans... not so crazy about how that is going. Seems to be a lighter vanilla color... not as much vanilla flavor. I need to add more beans to it.

Re: Vanilla Beans
My vanilla is SOOOOOOO good and such a beautiful color!! I only used the Madagascar Bourbon beans in the extract. I used the Tahitian beans in sugar to make vanilla sugar, and that's amazing too. My husband really likes it in his coffee or tea! I use it for homemade whipped cream.

Re: Vanilla Beans
Love it! I used a mix of both, about 16 beans in 8oz. Great color and flavor. I recently made some vanilla bean cupcakes and used the extract and scraped a bean...awesome.

Re: Vanilla Beans
My bottles are like DZA's I got them from Specialty Bottle in Washington State. It was much cheaper to order on the West Coast for me. I just threw the beans into the half gallon of vodka that I bought and will pour into the bottles closer to Christmas. Easier this way! Only have to shake one bottle. I am going to use my cruicut machine to make tags for them and I have some label ideas too.
