Have you ever noticed a difference in your eggs from a store, say organic or free range eggs versus the others?

I have a local farmer willing to supply me with large brown eggs from his farm and I know what he feeds them and how they are treated.
So I was wondering if it made a difference in the taste or texture. He just dropped off 2 crates with 18 eggs each for me to use and see if I like them.

So I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with this type of thing.

I've never noticed a difference with the different types of eggs when they're an ingredient. The only time i've noticed a difference is when i fry them up for breakfast. Eggs from the nearby farms always taste better!

After trying a few...O.K. 18 of them in total I am sold! So good and maybe it's all in my head but my muffins and cakes seem to taste better.
