Can anyone tell me how to make a road that spirals up a cake?
I'm going to do a 3 tier with an RV on top for my dad's retirement party...but I don't know how to get the road to connect to the cakes. Do you guys know what I mean??
Thanks!!
I think I am getting it... could you cut a long strip of black fondant... and roll it up and just start at the bottom and unroll as you go... start by going at a slant and gradually make it go up and around and up and around... are you getting what I mean? That should work... Or use dk chocolate fondant if you are looking for a dirt road!
Yes that's what I'm talking about! But the cakes themselves need to have an actual cake addition on them...like an exit ramp kinda...that's the part I don't know how to do! Does that make more sense?
Thanks!

I have a lot of Debbie Brown books and Linday Smith if you ever need instructions or pictures. I just like looking at the pictures. Good Luck on your cake.

Thanks! I only have one Debbie Brown book, but I just love it!! I definitely want more. This cake is for my dad's retirement. He was a 1964 grad of Ft. Dodge HS...I'll bet you know where that is!!
I use to travel to Fort Dodge once a year to visit our Workforce Development office.
