Default Can chocolate molds be used in other ways?

I see that in the Into The Oven store, there's a rather large assortment of different chocolate molds. However, I don't really do much with chocolate or molded candies for that matter. Would it be possible to use the chocolate molds for other purposes? Like maybe put Rice Krispie treats in them? Or maybe push fondant into them to get the shapes? If anyone has any other suggestions for using the chocolate molds, let me know and maybe I'll buy a few next time.

I use the baroque molds for my leather cakes. I cut the molds apart and used them to impress the leather design into the dk choco satin ice. I have a ton of chocolate molds and I use them for a variety of things... just don't put anything HOT in them... they will melt!

I have found if I am pusing fondant into them to make things... I have to either coat the mold with a thin layer of shortning or powdered sugar... the fondant sometimes sticks to them if there is a lot of detail.

I'm intreeged by the idea of you cutting the molds part and using them to impress your leather designs. Do you think you could share photos on how you do that?

They are a little too fragile for the RKT's, but I have also used them for fondant. I've also used them for shaped and embossed sugar cookies. You just have to spray with pam before you press the dough in. I have tons of molds since I also do chocolates.
