My fish was done with an oval shaped pan, and I took a 6" square one to carve the tail. ANS means years in French ex: 30 ans = 30 years-old. 1 an = 1 year-old.

The five tier cake was leaning on one side but I've realized it only after I was done with the setting up! I took my idea on the cover of a mail-box news I've received this spring. On the cover it was a 4-tier but I needed more serving, and my oven holds up only 14" round pans, and I don't have a 16" half-round pan.

I need to get me a level! that's the first thing I'm going to buy! lesson learned!

I used to use a level but I don't anymore. I just make sure I cut all my pegs exactly the same size. One off peg can make a cake look like a topsy turvy in no time! Great job anyway!

You have some good looking cakes here Pootchi. It's good that you are busy since have decided to charge friends and family for my cakes requests have stopped pouring in. Oh Well it's all good.
