I just made a fondant cage and I'm letting it dry. But I'm worried that it's going to be too heavy. So I think I'll do a royal icing one just to be safe.

I figured I would assemble it once I get to where the cake will be served. How do you suggest I "glue" it?

glue royal with more royal, and fondant with plain ol water or gum glue.
