Default 3D Golf Bag

I would like to create a 3D golf bag for Father's Day. I was thinking of doing two 6x3" stacked and perhaps covered in fondant. I wonder if I need to use a cake board inbetween the layers and use supports or will it be ok without those things?

I would just to be safe. You may be able to get by without them, but better safe than sorry!
You might want one more layer as golf bags are pretty tall and lean. Two 3" layers might be a little short and squatty...but maybe not. Just a thought! Can't wait to see the pix!!

I would plan on torting the layers so I should get a little extra height on them. I figured I would use a cake board inbetween the layers so that it would make it easier to serve the layers seperately. Still wonder if I should use supports in the bottom layer.

I would plan on using supports. It's better to have them and not need them, then to go to all that trouble creating something great, only to have it collapse on you.

I'd use 3 torted 6 inch layers with boards every 2 layers and deff support under each board. No one wants to do all that work and have it collapse.

Yeah, I'll go ahead and plan on using boards and supports.

Now I just need to figure out if I want to color the fondant or just airbrush it. And also how I want to do the side pockets.
