There will be a family gathering next weekend on Father's Day. Also I'll be seeing my parents and my mom had her birthday on June 4. Originally I thought of doing a small cake for her and my dad to share and then do a Father's Day cake to take for the family gathering. But it looks like my mom is going to invite the family over to their house. Now I just need to figure out if I want to do a birthday cake for her to take or if I should do a Father's Day cake. I'm curious what all of you think.
Originally, I thought that maybe there would be a family gathering at a relatives house. If that was the cake, I would have just done a small cake for my mom and a bigger cake for the gathering. But if the gathering is going to be at my parents' house, I wasn't sure if I should just do one cake or what.
I would still do a small cake for your mom, just to make her feel special! I am sure she would love it. then do a larger cake for the Fathers day celebration.
