Question Topsy Turvy

I have my second ever topsy turvy this Sunday. The first one was done completely trial by fire. I have no idea what I actually did. Thank goodness it survived!
So here's my question, Decorate then stack or stack and then decorate? I want the decorations to look straight to make the angle look even steeper.
Any advice?
Thanks guys!

On Yummy Arts they stack and then decorate the cakes.

Thanks! I know how to build it, I just wanted to know from more seasoned decorators if it's easier to decorate first or stack first.
I'm thinking that if I want the details to be straight it would be easier to tilt each tilted cake so that it's straight...but then I'd have to potentially mess everything up when I go to stack...
Any opinions?
Thanks!

If it was me I would still stack then decorate so that the decorations do not get accidentally messed up when stacking.

I've never done one before, but I'm in agreement that stacking first, then decorating seems much easier.
