1 4x3 or 3x3 usually. Sometimes a 5x3 because that's my odd shapes smallest sizes.

The one I made for my sons 1st birthday was a 6x2. It seemed to be the perfect size for him.

6x2 here, but if I would have had a smaller one, then I would probably go for 3 or 4".

I think the mini bear stand up pan would make a nice little cake.

Here is a pic of the cake with the smash cake. I ended up using a 4" pan for the first time. when icing it I was ready to throw it in the garbage I was having a time icing it and getting it smooth.

MsSweetie24, that's adorable! Stay on the smaller side & if possible, avoid a crusting icing.

I made a tiger out of the large bear stand up pan for a one year old and it was too big but the other kids were happy to help her. They took of pieces/chunks & were eating it. They actually had fun with it. You should have seen my shoulders go up when one of the mothers asked "How is it?" The little girl said "good". Whew! You know those darn kids can be honest & you never know what happens in the oven. We try hard.

That is too cute!! Anything smaller than a 6" is a pain in the butt to ice! It takes me longer than a larger cake. I've used a 6 in the past but it was a 6x3, one layer.
