Default Airbrush Colors

Can you use aibrush colors by just using a paint brush, or do you have to use them with an airbrush system?

I don't know, but that's a good question. I'm sure 2sdae will have the answer for us.

I wouldn't recommend it, gel colors are better for painting with, airbrush quality paint is more liquid and streaks if you use it for painting, maybe the texture or granules you have to use for that process makes it different, not sure why just know it didn't work well for me.

Hmm It looks like I may just have to buy an airbrush kit.

I've taken gel paste color and thinned them down extracts with a high alcohol content.

You can use them with a brush, if you are trying to give a "marbled" effect to a fondant cake. It will mark the strokes, so you have to use the brush constantly in the same direction.

For a nice even cover, you have to use the air brush gun.
