I bought the shortening at a local bakery supply. I bought the containers at Sam's. Sorry if I confused anyone.

Yes it did, I am going to try and get it posted either tonight or sometime tomorrow.

This server move has really put a krink in a lot of plans.

Plus, Magic Line goofed our order, so we didn't get the Airbrush Kits shipped to us like we ordered, we only got the Airbrushes themselves.

Me too. I know they are available in 4lbs. I really would love try the Sweetex but 50 lbs is way too much for me at this point. Please Please Please get some! I'd much rather buy my items here.

I would also be interested in trying Sweetex and Alpine in the 4 pound boxes. I currently buy BakeMark's hi-ratio shortening in 50 lb boxes because it's so darn cheap (and no shipping because it's local) but would love to do some comparison between BakeMark's brand and the other two.

Thanks!
Sherri

Hi to all,

Many times lurking, first time posting. Can someone explain to me why the use of high ratio shortening is an improvement over regular shortening? Thanks so much
