If you want to write in chocolate, you can use fudge frosting. It has the perfect consistency for it, and it gets dry, so it doesn't smear when you pack it.
Hmm, no, not that I've noticed. I end up putting it all in the fridge for a few minutes, that speeds up the process. Sometimes the freezer.
One more thing about using the fonts...thicker/fatter ones work best. I also try to go over it at least 2 times (kind of let it flood together, if that makes sense) so that it's not as fragile when I try to remove it from the wax paper.

I remember seeing Alton Brown do something like this on Good Eats. I think he melted the chocolate chips with some shortening and then transfered it to a squeeze bottle. Also make sure you go backwards as your finishing writing a word so that you don't drizzle chocolate where it isn't suppose to go.
