Default Chocolate covered ______!

So, i got a wild hair, and wanted to do some chocolate dipping! Around Easter I got a really cute Easter Egg Pretzel rod mold! It was so cute! And of course, especially yummy!

So the other day, as i mentioned elsewhere on here, i made my little baby feet oreo molds! YUM-O! and then last night i did some chocolate dipped giant marshmallows! i stacked 2 or 3 on a wooden skewer, then poured chocolate over them.....rolled them in sprinkles, or just dipped the top in sprinkles....etc. it was so fun. and they are pretty good! and so cute!

Next thing i did was make a batch of rice krispie bars and then cut them into squares and circles. I dipped and drizzled to my hears content! I even made some marine corps emblem chocolates and set them on the tops of the circle ones! I made some with sticks (like a rice krispie pop) YAY! Those were fun too!

I posted some of my creations in my albums on here if you want to check them out!

Now i'm wondering, what else can i dip in chocolate?!?! I've done oreos, pretzels, marshmallows, rice crispies, and fortune cookies....so, besides the obvious, anyone else have any fun ideas?

call me insane but i saw this show on the food network once, a long time ago, where there's a store and their specialty was potato chips covered in chocolate! another thing, how about fruits? I have tried chocolate covered bananas and they're really good.

make mini cupcakes, without the paper liners, and turn them upside down and drizzle with chocolate!

you are making me crave!

k_anncookies,

Martha Stewart has a recipe on her site for dipped cup cakes. They look like the dipped ice cream cones. I printed out the recipe and am going to try them.

Hmmm potato chips? I"ll have to try that one. Which means i'll have to go buy some. Don't usually buy those things....because i'll eat them! I did do some bananas a while back....yummy goodness for sure. I tried to convice myself that it was healthy, because it was a banana (with chocolate) doesn't that cancel out the bad? ha ha

I am going to check out the martha stewart site. i was there the other day checking out the cupcakes! What cute ideas!
Thanks for sharing all the tips and ideas!

Your creations are gorgeous! My favorite is caramel apples dipped in chocolate. You just can't beat chocolate and caramel!

I tried searching for the 'top hat' cupcakes but couldn't find any pics of them...BUT! i found "hi-hats" which are flat cupcakes, topped with a marshmallow meringue, and then dipped in a chocolate ganache....which look yummy!!!! are those similar to "top-hats"? or am i way off base with the comparison?!?!!?
