Default Modeling Chocolate

My new best friend!

I'm making a fall cake that's going to have pumpkins on it and was hunting for something really good to make them out of that's edible rather than fondant.

I ran on to the recipe for modeling chocolate and I love it! It's easy to work with, lots of time to play with it before it firms up and tastes..well, like chocolate of course!

I've never really worked with chocolate at all, but now I want to try it all!

Oh dear...more tools, more supplies....

I've never used modeling chocolate, but I think that's a great idea to use it for pumpkins!

Thanks - now I'm going to have to try this out, too!

Is the recipe you used the one where you mix chocolate wafers with corn syrup?

That's the one, only I used white chocolate and much less corn syrup than you do with regular chocolate..about 2 T to 1lb.
