Re: step by step advanced chocolate method.
I just put the chocolate in a disposable bag that I had cut down to about 5" long so it was easier to use. Then cut a very small end off and just used it. I am going to try it again using a brush to shade like the instructions show. It is really fun and not as hard as it looks! And... I used the Wilton candy melts. That is all we have availble around here and I like the flavor of them!

Re: step by step advanced chocolate method.
That is cool. I like it in the heart a lot. Does anyone have tips for those makeup chocolate molds? I'm not good at chocolates & just wondering how you would put in the lipstick color and eye shadow. I bought them to make to go with a make up bag but never got around to doing them. If you ever looking for a good chocolate mold site - try this one. I think they have everything. This is where I found my chess pieces which were easy to do since they were solid colors.

Re: step by step advanced chocolate method.
There are a ton of molds on there. I have so many that I don't use. I used to do a ton of chocolates every one used to love my Chrismas boxes... I got away from it for a long time and am kind of reintroudcing myself. I get myself going on too many projects... but this chocolate painting is really an art form too!

Thanks for sharing. That looks really neat to do. But it looks like you have to be pretty artistic to do it.

Re: step by step advanced chocolate method.
Seems like it's just tracing and shading and such--should be pretty easy to do!! I'm excited. I'm going to try to do a picture of our boys for a treat for my husband for his birthday!!

Re: step by step advanced chocolate method.
It is just tracing and shading. If you follow the instructions on the website it is really easy. I didn't do the shading with a brush but will next time. Be sure you have a really good photo and it helps to print it in black & white so you can see the shading and details better. As far as being artistic... I can't draw a stick figure but I'm good at tracing and coloring!!!! The heart shape is just a cookie cutter laid out and the white chocolate poured into it. Really was fun and not hard!
