Default Cake Ball Question

I am am making my mom some cake ball chocolates for Mothers Day . I have never made them but I was wondering if I could add a little crisco to the chocolate so it will be smoother and if so how much would you add to 1 1/4 pds? Thanks

I use either veggie oil or crisco, maybe try it one spoonful at a time then youcan always add more if need be.

Mine is chocolate stout cake with coffee flavoring and hazel nut creamer added. I then dip them in Ghirardelli chocolate. Yum.

Chocolate cake with baileys or kahlua and a little caramel as the binders, dipped in chocolate. Covered in heath tofee.

White cake with strawberry filling and baileys as binders and dipped in white or regular chocolate.

Red velvet cake with baileys, dipped in white chocolate.

As you can see, mine are usually adult versions.
