Affiliates Program - Earn 5% on every baking supply sale!

Well here is the first program of the two we said we had up our sleeves that we have been working long and hard on for you.....

If you run a website, sign-up for our affiliates program, provide links back to our store, and someone makes a purchase in our store after following your link, you will earn 5% on that sale.

What's great, is their cookie is set for 30 days. What that means that if someone came to our store from your website through your affiliate link, any purchases they make in those 30 days you will earn 5% commission on each sale!

We have provided some ads and banners that you can use, with about 16 more banners coming real soon, so keep checking if you don't like the existing ones.

You also have the ability to link directly to the products image, or just a text link, like when you link to URL's here. That way you can write up an article, let's say on Fondant and when you use the word fondant, you can link that to the fondant section of the store.

We are opening this program up to you the forum users first before we do a newsletter promoting this across the Internet.

This is a great way for those of you with BLOGs, websites, and when you post on other message boards to offset your baking addiction supply costs.

Please note though, that our affiliate links are not permitted in our message forums just because this is a promotional item for our store and like to keep our forums very clean with no advertising. We have had many compliments on this design. Please check the forum rules for any other forums that you do not run before posting your Affiliate IDs.

Signing up for the affiliates program was easy! Now I just have to hunt to find a few places other than my obscure freewebsite to put the links.

Not sure, but I would bet cakecentral doesn't allow it. I recommend intotheoven there all the time, but I don't think we can post referral links.

Thanks though, this could really be a great way to defray expenses a little.

Glad you thought it was easy.

Play around with the different link options, you can do just normal hyperlinks along with links directly to specific products so it will blend in non-obtrusively in your website if you don't want to have banner ads.

If that person had an affiliate account I think they would be making a little extra on the side, as we have had quite a few links from that page to our cupcake liners.

Btw...I just noticed that the banner link wasn't working on my website. I went to the affiliate link to see if I could fix it and none of the banners are showing up for me.

There was a link to send a notice to inform the webmaster (or some language close to that), so I sent off the first one..do I need to do that for all of them and is that why they aren't showing up on my website?

Cancel that...already got it fixed and an email about it. You guys are fast!
