I'm making a key lime cake for my brother's wedding and I would love to find some key lime flavored fondant. Does it exist or can I flavor Satin Ice? I've never added flavorings and it makes me nervous to try. Anybody have suggestions?
If I were you I would leave the flavors to the cake, the filling and the frosting. Sometimes adding flavor to the fondant makes it do funny things. Just what I would do but does not mean you can not flavor it. I know people do. I just never do.
I've never flavored Satin Ice before, so I can't help ya there. But, you could always try Fondarific. I don't know if they offer Key Lime, but I think that's probably just about your only pre-flavored option.
